The Sweeney Todd shaving method?
So I was watching the Sweeney Todd movie, and I noticed he has two basic shaving techniques:
1) The really close & deep shave where he shaves along the blade of the razor :nono:.....(DO NOT TRY THIS ONE AT HOME!)
and
2) What I'm going to call the "one-stroke" shave. Basically, he starts a little above the neckline and shaves up to the customers chin line all in one upstroke.
Now, I haven't been doing this for too long, but from what I've read, I'm supposed to use lots of little strokes to do the same task. Is the "One-stroke" method just a work of fiction or can really accomplished barbers pull this off effectively?
