Thread: Barbershop accident!!

The other day i went to my local barbershop (mikonos) , i found out that this barber would use a real straight on a customer if this provided it.
So i get my filarmonica#13 and my toni miller honey brown and go to see this guy, first of all i spent outside a minute or two just apreciating the charm of a shop that probably has not change in over 50 years....as soon as i came in i fell in love with the chairs, i could put one as decoration in every room in my house, i swear.

So i spent like 20 minutes talking to Mr.mikonos about straight razor shaving, showing him my gear (the blade and strop...) i was very focused trying to absorve the scents and sounds on this place , to really enjoy the experience....

We get started, i lie down and i get the towel treatment,then this man asks me....how close you want your shave ? i tell him as close as you can..
So he gets and gives me a little wooden bowl and tells me to place it between my gums and my cheeks ,therefore stretching my cheeks to the max.....
Then this guy starts stropping my blade in my strop , i am really enjoying seeing him how much he likes the straight and how he can not stop talking about the strops craftmanship when all of a sudden nicks the fu.. of my strop!!!!!! almost slices the strop in half this mo....fu....!!!!!!!!in front of my face !!!!
SO ...long story short...the guy really apologizing to me telling me how he is gonna pay me to the last penny of the strop etc etc, but... while all of this was happening i happened to swallow the damn bowl when i saw this guy slicing my strop...
So i tell the guy...by the way mister....i am sorry to tell you that i dont know if it is because i got upset or really scared that ...well...i swalloed your wooden bowl and ..i dont know..... i am sorry.
And he tells me...ah... dont worry about it...bring it tomorrow, thats what everybody does.
