Thread: First Straight Shave

I went into the experience kind of scared, but it ended up alright.

So i get home today and suprise, there are 2 straight in the mail. One of them was a crown & sword, the other was a henkles with Ivory scales. So I said to myself lets shave.

I pulled out the crown and sword, got some of my art of shaving lemon shaving cream, and my altesse pure badger brush, and started up. Okay I said, one pass with the grain... It was perfect. Okay one pass across the grain, so I relathered and shaved... Perfect again. Should I? Yeah. One pass against the grain wait a minute... Perfect?

It is actually one of the closest shaves i have ever had... I mean there are some trouble spots, but over all i am actually surprised by how nicely I did, and no nicks. Maybe all that studying actually helped... there are still a few things i need to iron out, but damn if i didn't get really lucky.

I also used my right hand for both sides, is that wierd?
