I can recall being in my mothers arms as small child while in public and pointing to some older fellar passing by "look mommy look"
I don't remember what I said though I know she was embarassed.

I doubt he heard what I said judging from the coppice of growth tangling from his ear. I suspect he was a wizard and somehow sensed my shock, cursing me to the same fate under his breath as he smiled and nodded to my mother.

true story; if the hair on my head grew as fast as that in my ears I could make my living selling it to wigmakers. Through several inquiries I have discovered no one wants a wig made of ear hair.

I have one of those mini trimmers I had seen on TV. Using it I thought how clever of them to edit out the noise this gizmo creates for their commercial. Currently I use a Merkur moustache razor with a gillette travel handle to make it look even cuter.
It's ok I guess. Yesterday I got brave enough to swipe at it with a straight. Not easy.
