    Default Weird Question

I've been using a straight razor and after I shave with it, my skin is smooth but I can still see hair under the surface I can't feel it. How can I shave that off so it looks as soft as it feels?

I don't think you will be able to remove it with any sort of razor - if it is under the skin, that is! The only thing that will get to hair below the skin is plucking, silking, depilatory creams, electrolysis and laser.

    Regards,
    Neil

Sounds like you have very dark whiskers ? Were you able to get the same feeling with other methods of shaving without being able to see the whiskers after the shave ?
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I remember this question being posted a while back. The best you can do is stretch the skin really well and see how that works.

Otherwise it depends on your skin and hair type. Lighter hair and darker skin will make it less noticeable.

Your other option is to use some make-up, that will make it look as good as it feels.

I experience the same thing. The question JCitron is referencing may be this one? http://straightrazorpalace.com/shavi...ck-shadow.html

I have thick black beard hair, and (in the winter especially) pretty pale skin. Even when I get the most amazing BBS shaves, you can see some hair through the skin. Usually, for some reason, this becomes LESS apparent after a few hours. Still there, though. A tan helps.

Nope, the one I was referring to was older. Several months back. I can't seem to find it right now. That's where the make-up comment was from. Someone in that post said that a lot of the men you see on TV with perfect BBS faces are only so because of make-up covering the "peppered" look on their face.

That makes a lot of sense. Sometimes I think the makeup artist(?) goes a little overboard and they look like a talking Ken doll or something. A tad creepy. BTW, I also have this problem and it can be awfully frustrating for pictures. I can't get the hair any closer but I still look like a bum! Really black hair and rather pale skin just don't mix.

Well, if you enjoy using a straight and it feels BBS, I’d call it good!

Yes, there are 2 ways to LOOK BBS when you look "Italian" (pale skin and dark beard): make up and permanent hair removal.
