Yeah, it hadn't grown too thick when that was filmed, but had I let it become longer and fuller, I'm sure the razor would have made equally short work of it. That was the first time I had used that Boker, and I had just honed it up, so it was really sharp. I've been really pleased with its performance. My mom picked it up for me all on her own from a vendor at an antique roadshow for twenty bucks!
A shave with that kind of growth obviously isn't the norm, but the ones after two to three days' worth of beard are always the best for me. They're so much better than trying to shave 'shadowy' stubble. The razor and myself just aren't satisfied during the initial pass on a day's growth, since the hair is too short for the edge to really sink its teeth in.
