I use a towel I keep on the dashboard so I don't have to take my eyes off the road.

I rinse it under the faucet.
During the shave I swish it in the sink which is full of hot water.
After the shave I rinse it under the faucet and dry with a towel. I then give it 10 laps on the fabric and 10 on the leather to be sure the edge is clean and dry as my careful use with the towel probably prevented the edge from getting wiped dry that way.
I wipe the blade on a damp cloth draped over the edge of the sink. Just enough to remove the bulk of the lather, no need to go overboard. This way water rarely touches the scales or the pivot.
I rinse it off using hot water from the tap. I wipe the blade when I'm done shaving.
Happiness is a warm blade. :)
I used to wipe it on a towel... Now i just wipe it on a piece of toilet paper. Then throw it....in the toilet when i'm done.
I fill the sink and swish it carefully.
I WIPE ON PALM OR FOREARM
