Kristoffer, do you cover your blades with any oil after shaving? I got a pretty bad reaction to blades treated with WD40 (despite careful washing before stropping).

Preshave oil might help you too. just apply right before the ATG, and are you sure your razor is sharp enough ? If the razor is not at its best then ATG (for me under the chin) can be pretty unpleasant.
Hello guys.Thanks for the answers.
First, yes my blades are sharp.Actually they have never been better. Thanks to my new nakiama hone from OS.I love it!
Second, I use several preshaveoils: AOS, T&H ,CF ,tobs and skinfood.
They all seem to work nice, alltough I sometimes have a reaction from the AOS stuff, wich is a shame.
I only started a few weeks ago to use a japanese oil on the blades that I store.I simply shave to damn often...thats the problem.
BTW.This morning I pulled out my dirtybird scuttle and really took my time with the prep.Used only CF products, and had a great shave!:D

I shave every other day too. I feel like shaving everyday is not only to harsh on the face but also seems like a waste of expensive shaving products!
Try out the Proraso shaving soap, it's great. I use the Eucalyptus & Menthol in the green tub. You mentioned sword oil, I assume you are talking about choji oil...this doesn't effect my skin. If it's not true choji (clove oil), it could be a petrol based oil & that's irritating to the skin. I've gotten some that was questionable before.
Nothing wrong, I'm just not afraid to waste them, thats all.But seriously this stuff takes a lot of space.I really wish I could just settle with one brand and be happy.

I have been experimenting with a tea tree oil antiseptic cream lately and and it seems to be getting my outbreaks under control. The only issue is its scent and the sting, but I can live with both. ;)
