Thanks for all the replies, I decided to push on with this and get a great shave from them all! Variety is the spice of life! Plus my curiosity is just killing me!!! I'm looking forward to trying a frameback next week that I will be purchasing, so THANKS AGAIN!!

to be honest mostly everyone here is telling the truth to you...back away from the flea market mister and put your wallet away! but my pusher side say's look at this beautiful wedge that will dance around your face....it happened i'm less than three months into straight shaving and have nine different SR's...the preference is yours, the addiction is all to fun last night i was thinking while watching a movie with my wife....why am i not sanding anything or honing something....i really began to feel alittle antsy and realized all nine SR's are done and i need more!

As long as you get a great shave, do what ever you want - and have the economy - to do. If you don't buy any more razors it makes it easier to fight the RAD....
But there will allways be the razor that makes you go "hmm I wonder how that one shaves..."
The easy answer, I guess, is do you feel like you're missing out?
I don't think you are, there is much more too a razor than grind. You need to consider the over all system.
You are so right. Last night while one the train I was thinking about the ivory scales that I am making for a fleabay SR. I've got the blade cleaned up & scales roughed out & all I could think about was "should I round off the edges or angle them" During my conversation with myself I decided on rounding them considering that I am using ivory & it's just so traditional. Nothing but curves for this new one. I've got four more on the way that I'm sure I will at least take apart & clean up...RAD is mind boggling:rofl2:
yes shooter i agree it's BAD!
