Default Another youtube bathroom movie (BarberRonny)

Hello... I never noticed but when I posted the video I got comments that I'm using a very unusual (mirrored) grip on the razor. I'm used to shave this way and it works out pretty well for me.

    Default Another Youtube Movie

    Hello, BarberRonny:

An unpretentious and most interesting video.

The razor technique is somewhat unorthodox, but if it works for you, that's what matters. As far as I am concerned, there is no right or wrong technique, since shaving is so individual.

Your music bed is a great choice, I must say. That's Neal Hefti's "Little Darlin'" with Freddie Green on guitar. Nice and sweet.

I enjoyed your video. Thank you for offering it.

    Regards,
    Obie

Enjoyed the music and your efficient method. It looks like you can actually straight shave as fast as using a DE which is unusual. Have you ever tried switching hands?

Lynn this is why your the man, no one but you could use the term "sport" to straight razor shaving with a straight face! No Pun!

Ronny, cool video, I shave one handed, and do some odd manuvers too when shaving. Love the tune! What's the silver symbol on your shave brush?

Obie, thanks for the reference... it's heading to my grooveshark list.

    cheers
    David

Wow, I'm impressed by the speed of this shave!
Four minutes for a single pass, start to finish including stropping; 1:40 of actual blade time. That's impressive.

    Nice video.

Nice video, nice technique. But, where is your lather? From the soap to your face? Each to his own. I like to build it up a bit in a nice warm bowl hydrated a bit more than that. Having said that, it takes me as long to build later as it did for you to shave.. lol Good job.
