Hi all. This afternoon I had an excellent shave with a Boker King Cutter 5/8 spike point I bought off the forum from Holi.

I have found that to refresh an edge on a razor to a state that suits me, I do 15 on 1 and .5 micron diamond on a hard wool felt paddle, followed by about 12-15 on a rough leather paddle with crox. 60 passes on a smooth leather and I am good to go. While I think that I prefer stiffer razors, be them bigger wedges or semi-hollow ground 4/8 blades (or even Feathers), the full hollow ground of the Boker is wonderful to shave with.

The Art of Shaving Lavender cream is excellent for men with sensitive skin, and my Shavemac Finest Badger hair brush is divine.

Post shave, I use a Clinique post shave soother. It has a calming effect on my skin, and salicylic acid to avoid bumps and ingrown hairs for those of use with problematic skin. I use a CereVe moisturizing cream as a moisturizer afterward too.

Enjoy the weekend!
