    Smile One year and counting...

Well it was last April that got my GF's (Grandfather's) old square point Union Cutlery, Southern Queen out and decided to teach myself how to shave with a stright razor. It's been a very enjoyable journey. Since then I have shaved excusivly with a straight razor and do not forsee any reason to go back to a multi. I have added two more squair points to the collection a Case Red Imp and a Kirschner Bros. Solingen both of which I bought from these classifids. To any newbies I can only say, stick with it. Shaving with a straight razor is more an art that a skill. I sill learn somthing new about it every day.

Allow me to add my congratulations as well. I'm right behind you. Come next December, I'll be able to say the same thing too.

And thank you for your encouragement to all the new str8 razor shavers on SRP to "stick with it."

Congratulations on one year and it is always nice to hear from everyone on their one year mark to show newbies what is gained from going through the learning curve.

Congrats! I also started with an heirloom, my great-grandfather's Novelty Cutlery, Co.

Here's to more razor additions and smooth shaves!
