New kit, great shave!

It's Christmas in Tonga! In today's mail, I received a
new razor, a new strop, and a shaving supplies CARE
package...all at once!

The razor is a vintage Friodur Inox 7/8, from JimR.
The strop is a kangaroo hide custom-made from MickR.
Also from Mick, a tube of Faulding Shaving Cream, a
bottle of Nivea aftershave balm, and a bottle of Old
Spice "Original" aftershave.

I zoomed home from the post office, tore open the
packages, and then immediately proceeded to shave,
using the entire new kit.

What a joy! Great shave!

A full review of Mick's Roo strop will follow in a week
or so, but suffice it to say, I'm impressed! And the
razor from Jim is a beauty!
