Thread: Shaving with a wedge??

I have found that when I shave with heavier razors, because of the weight, I am inclined to press harder than I do with lighter razors. With experience I've become aware and can adjust to avoid the problem; perhaps that is what you're doing, or something along those lines? The shave is generally worse and accompanied by razor burn.

I started with a wedge because my beard is so tough I couldn't cut through it with a singing full hollow or whatever you call it. I still use a wedge and love it.
