About the middle of April I'll be celebrating one year of straight shaving. From an almost comically catastrophic beginning, I've come to love my morning shave. This morning, using an eBay purchased razor i cleaned up and honed myself, I enjoyed a close shave in two passes, WTG/ATG, no cuts or nicks, smooth face, and a great feeling of enjoyment.

I'll probably post some musings about this first year when the anniversary comes round, but this morning's shave was just so much of what I was hoping for when I started, I wanted to just give a shout-out to all the straight guys here.

It's great when something we have to do every day anyhow can become such a source of pleasure, even elegance.
