    Default When do you shave?

When do you shave *most often*? I used to shave every morning, but since taking up the straight I find myself shaving in the evenings more often. I tend to shave in the mornings on the weekends or if I have a day off, and on workdays I tend to shave just before I go to bed. I think I do this because I like to relax and take my time and in the mornings on workdays I'm usually running a little behind anyway.

    Anyone else?

If you shave early you can enjoy the "smoothness" all day long!

Before work, so I'll count that as morning. It typically turns out to be early afternoon since I work second shift.

To be precise, 7:15 AM on weekdays; around 11:00 AM weekends. The extra growth on Saturday mornings allows me to get an even closer shave than on the weekdays.

    It's all good.

I shower and shave in the evening. This works out great for taking my time and not being rushed or late for work. I like waking up clean shavin.

Usually around 11am... Between handing materials off to the driver and my assistant coming over with a new batch of problems.

Evenings, usually. I'm groggy in the morning, and I don't feel like I'm getting the most out of the shave.

I'm retired so I have the leasure of shaving when I feel like it, usually about 11 AM most days.

I haven't done an evening shave in a while but remember well the clean, relaxed feeling right before bed. I'm a morning person by nature so I have no problem giving myself the extra time at the top of the day so that I can look my best going out the door. It's as equally fine a way to start the day as it is to end one. Perhaps I should consider alternating. That'd be a shave every 36 hours. Bigger shaves feel better though. It's more enjoyable to let it grow the extra 12 hours or so.

I'm sure it will be evenings. I have a Golden Retriever I am training for field work and his alarm goes off at 6:30AM. Ready to go train. He is rather persistant about getting dad out of bed and out in the field. If I was half as routine oriented as he is?
