Thanked: 84Something to consider!
I made a big change in my shaving routine today, and recieved my biggest cut to date!
Now we all hate to admit we are getting older, and further, hate to do the things that prove it. OK, my eyes are not as sharp as they once were, and I wear glasses to read. And maybe a little for distance. The point is I have never shaved with my glasses on, and have blamed the odd missed patch of whiskers on, 'it happens'. So today I decided to wear them in order to get a perfect shave.
As any wearer of glasses will tell you, you don't look at the stairs when starting, because they aren't where they seem. Well, the same holds true for looking in the mirror. I reached my free hand up for a skin stretch and promptly pushed my razor into, and across my chin. Somewhere between looking in the mirror, through the glasses, and guiding my hand to my face, an error occured. It's hard to accept because these are the same hands and face that have been with me for fifty years! I have straight shaved thousands of times, and don't even own any nick relief type things.
So, if you are going to make any radical changes to your shaving routine- be extra careful.
