Had the trifecta of success today. Full face SR with no nicks and with a blade I honed myself.

Congrats. Awesome feeling. My absolute favorite razor is one I rescaled myself, honed myself, and is without a double the smoothest shaver I have. Love that Karnak.

Congrats! I've just recently been getting good edges on my own (even though I've been honing off and on for a couple months now). The edges were passable at best before, and only in the last two sessions have I ended up with something close to the shave ready I've received from others. No pull when going through the tough chin hairs!

I have been using the same Vitory Hone since 1964. My father had it before I did, and it is the fastest edge sharpiner I have.
