I rinse it is just easiest to do when in mid shave
I just rinse, then wipe between passes, and then wipe and dry after the shave before stropping. Other than that, nothing fancy:)
a quick swirl in the sink filled with water then a wipe.
I rinse clean and wipe dry. So I voted other.
I used to rinse but now wipe. Those razors that rust at just the sight of water changed my mind.
I reckon you might need compressed air for that new 'un James :p
I just fold a moistened facecloth and place it at the side of the sink. One of the videos I watched showed the guy shaving and wiping on a sponge which was in the sink, but I like using the facecloth because once it's soiled, I just throw it into the wash. And it's much quieter than running water. Between passes, I rinse the cloth and refold. Seems, to me, like the safest way to clean my blade.

I wipe using a piece of paper towel, I go around the 4 edges so I always wipe on a clean section of the paper. After finished shaving I rinse the blade edge down then wipe with a clean tissue paper.
I normally just rinse and properly take care of the blade afterwards. However, I have found that using my washcloth on the sink works well. After my shower, I will use the washcloth in the microwave to warm up my whiskers/face and set it on the counter. When I am done, it gets rinsed and goes back into the shower. Same thing can be done to wipe off the lather - just make a little half sphere (to avoid hitting the counter) by balling up the washcloth. When done, rinse it off and back into the shower it goes!! MUCH less laundry this way.
