Do not shave on the days your hands are shaking.

Well I don't drink. Age and neglect have caught up with me. This entire adventure is as much therapy as anything else. I just wish I had discovered all this fun years ago.

Yeah, I've started noticing a little shake in my hands. It stops the moment the blade touches my face, though.

My dad has parkinsons, and I've often thought of suggesting a mild DE for him, but he thinks disposables are safer for him. I don't know if he's right, but he's gotten some nasty cuts with them, too. It's tough stuff to deal with sometimes.

Get your Dad a high end electric, like a Braun.I do some work with our medical auxillary in my local for people with parkinsons,or taking Plavix, Coumidin etc, thats whats recomended by the AMA.

I don't have anything as severe, just arthritis, but that doesn't do much to cause cuts.

I do notice, however, that I drink a LOT of coffee, and my shave in the morning before I drink coffee is much less eventful than it is if I wait three hours and have three cups of coffee and then do it.

Not a problem, my routine is to get out of the shower and shave quick as I have public transit to catch. On the weekends if I wait, I always feel like i'm on the edge of having a twitch from the caffeine and making a lateral move with the straight.
