That’s brutal Mike. I hope it heals as fast as it can. It will piss you off for many days to come. As much as it hurts, wash it often.
It happened so fast.! Its been over an hour, and its just now starting to hurt some. Doc says no stitches, no meat to sew together. Keep it clean and bandaged.
A splint that is flexible aluminum with a foam inside might be a good idea to protect it from you. I would wash it and air it four times a day. Clean bandages and away you go. It is likely going to leak for about five days so frequent bandage changes and super clean will help it heal fast.
