    Default Cut of the Day

There's a Shave of the Day thread, why shouldn't there be a Cut of the Day thread? Not that we'll feature it on the front page or anything. Here's my contribution, from this morning, July 7, 2012. I'd started the pass down from my right sideburn and hadn't noticed that the razor (a spike point) was actually poised a little way inside my ear. About half the blood flowed into my ear, and half down my jaw and neck.

Granted, this isn't a really exciting one, but we gotta start somewhere. Scars are good too, but they must be from wet shaving.

And remember folks, the SRP adage: Without pictures, it didn't happen! Text is no good unless it's a caption.

Roughkype, 'Sorry the entry was needed. I, of course would be a heavy contributor.

    May we both have fewer.

Old pic but it was a good cut needing super glue(I've never sutered my own face before). The ex SWMBO surprised me in the mist of shaving.

Now that I think of it, she may have been hoping I was on a neck pass...
Luckily it blends with other scars from the Army.
It left a perm scar that routinly gets coments at shave gatherings..LOL

Great thread idea, roughkype. Now gentlemen, just be sure that SWMBO is ready and on standby with the camera every shave, just in case.....

    Have fun,

Thanks for your post. My wife, whom I love dearly, can be a bit of a gerbil sometimes and managed to accidentally surprise me one time while I was attempting a shave. Words were spoke and the bathroom door remains closed now while I shave. Showed her your photo and I think she gets it now. You really don't need distractions especially when you are a nervous beginner like me. Think I'll keep a tube of crazy glue handy too in case the styptic pencil is not enough.

Say it, Eff, Eff, Ess. (FFS), For F's Sake. I mean to communicate my astonishment at your horrible wounds...

(I got the Ess bit wrong and typed SSS instead)...
