Only place I ever still nick myself is that spot and always with a nice spear tip....
Never take your eye off of the blade...

Managed to do that while looking at my face for touch ups while bringing both hands up to my face at the same time. :gaah:
Must remember to put some first aid supplies in my shave den and some ecm and a stitch kit and lidocaine.

Okay, it's not really too bad. Probably won't even scar. But it is definitely a good reminder to never take your eye off the blade.
The blood was impressive :tameshigiri:
coworker: Oh you cut your finger !
You: Yep it bled pretty good
coworker : how did you do it ?
You: Shaving
coworker: *strange look* Okay if you don't want to tell me that's alright.
http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g4...psfd2ba774.jpgBleeding controlled by the time I snapped the pic. Only noteworthy parts are that ridiculous angle I was holding the blade at! Clearly I was asleep at the wheel. The other interesting part was "shaving" the skin flap off my face! Needless to say my attention was razor focused.....(pun intended)NAES
This is an old one I posted elsewhere, bleeding "controlled". Not from a razor but kickback from a table saw I was cutting scales on.

This one came as a shock. I had bread knifed the razor while hand sanding but over the course of grit progression I sanded and edge back on. Not shave ready but enough to get me from a light stroke across my finger while wiping the blade.

That first one looks super painful Hart. Makes me cringe just looking at it.
Ok, getting queasy here. Waay too much blood...never had more than a nick. But I am learning to be very careful as I look through these. :dropjaw:
