I'm new to straight razor shaving, making the switch from Gillette Mach 3 cartridges to my new Dovo Ivory Micarta. This new SR is a full hollow stainless steel 5/8 beauty with laser etching that gives is a Damascus steel kind of look. After reading on SRP for hours and hours while my new razor was in the mail, I tried my first shave yesterday. This morning was my second (all except the chin), and I couldn't be happier!
