    Default new toys

    found 2 new old blades today. one is a wade and butcher. measures 13/16 barbers notch. some rust but not to deep. looks like it may have started out in life as a 7/8. it will need new scales for sure. the other is a john heiffor. Sheffield made for the army. the scales on it is yellow and dirty. I will unpin and clean. once I get it back to gether i'll photo and post. the john heiffor has very little hone wear and looks to be about 7/8 round point. I want know until they are cleaned up if I did ok or not. the wade and butcher was $20 and the john heiffor was $30. i'll unpin both and go to work tomorrow. wish me luck

    I have a few John Heiffor Made For The Army razors..
    They shave GREAT but can be a PITA to hone! (at least for me)
