Cleaning this up for a customer at my barber shop, he picked it up for 2 bucks. Love the work on the spine

Possibly Italian because Pietà or pietà - An Italian word meaning pity, compassion, and sorrow, it is strongly ... the Latin word pio, which means pious. Thinking it may be a custom handmade. Can't seem to find any info about the manufacturer or type.
I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.
