    This will be my first resto! I don't know much about the manufacturer, but I figure for $10 it's hard to go wrong!

    All you need is a cheap harbor freight coping saw, sand paper, and scale material (preferably already 1/8" thickness) and you can do your own

    Zack, you can do it, I did. I just did a Frederick Reynolds Restore here is a before and after photo. I used all hand tools and such. No machines. You can do it.

    The sky's the limit! You can replace the broken scales with anything from pre-shaped plastic to a natural material of your choosing. Good German steel, no reason to think she'll be anything other than an excellent shaver!
