Tuzi that is some awesome work and Tom is one lucky fella
Cold night, too much shoveling.
Nice to see a few posts to warm the old ticker a bit.
Nice work on that strop G. Looks terrific in its custom barber coat as well. Well done, and well received in Texas by a deserving bloke
All good on a Tuesday night. And Tony, that covered tang boker looks sweet. I think I have one similar.. Enjoy.
Cheers men.

Well, TBH, communication has revealed that the B52' combo of a cast brush handle (WITH a Shavemac Knot!) and matching scales clothing an old Butcher rattler must remain down here with me.
Such a day. Thanks SO much, Bruv! Will be treasured! :D

I've got coming to me soon is my first Naniwa Super Stone, 1000 grit. This will join my 'La Veinette' coticule to form a minimalist honing arsenal.

Coti.
Also in the post are both a ZY 430 and Gold Dollar razor to practice strokes on. I've got a couple of nicer razors that I'm in the process of restoring, but I thought two junk razors'd be a good place to start learning bevel-setting.
Enjoy my lil laser burner but almost immediately I realised it wasn't big enough for all the things I wanted to do with it.
So building a bigger rig that will have a 1'x8" work bed and adding stronger stepper motors, a Z axis, and the option to switch from laser to mechanical spindle as I find cutting translucent, or reflective items a PIA.

Have a few etching projects on the table that I'm just itching to get to.
Hopefully I'll have this operational before months end to run some tests.
Cheers.
