Well it didn't come in the mail but it came from my buddy Ski.
Now First and Foremost, generally I don't buy 'Gadgets' like popcorn poppers, rice cookers etc. I do things the old fashioned way. If I want popcorn I pop it in a pan on the stove. If I want rice I cook it on the stove in a pan, etc.
However my buddy Ski was having trouble opening jars of pickles, jams etc. He also had a friend who is the widow of a good friend who was having trouble opening jars.
He stumbled upon a battery operated gadget called RoboTwist so he ordered two/one for him and one for his widow friend.
Seems that the place couldn't add as he received Four for the same price and it wasn't one of the IF YOU BUY NOW YOU'LL RECEIVE ANOTHER FREE things.
Anyway he gave me one yesterday and I'll be go to hell but the damn thing actually works and works well. I'll have to see how long the plastic holds up.
Now I've got to share this; back in the day when my 110# mother couldn't open a jar she'd have my 200+# dad open it, then dad would hand tighten it back up and mom still couldn't open the damn jar!!!
I bet she'd have bought one of these in a blink of an eye!
