Yes, actual horsehide. That's all I did to the one I made for myself and it's been stropping like a champ. Also, that particular linen works great, nice vintage fire hose.

Makes sense too, in slight amounts, to aid in lifting the grime and evaporating quickly.
Naphtha, needs me some naphtha.
I got my wife into wet shaving last year and have been upgrading her gear. I told her to shop around for a bowl to replace the soup mug she had been using. She picked this and it's on the way. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...534410f14b.pnghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e283460ebd.png
[QUOTE=HARRYWALLY;1735161]I want to see both of those at the meet Andrew. I had put an order in for a Koorat, but they weren't taking orders at the time. Naturally, I spent the money on a Tally Ho. Would love to see one in person.

Thank you. It's kind of fun seeing her convert to wet shaving. We just moved her from a boar to a badger brush. I doubt that she will ever want to do a straight, but she is liking the shaves with her Lady Gillette and her Schick Golden 500. She has been doing this for a little less than a year and I don't see her going back to carts.
The Proraso Aftershave Lotion that I was waiting on arrived today, the stuff is amazing!
