Man do I love these hump backs! When I saw this one on Ebay, sitting in my backyard in Brantford, with free shipping, I had to snag it up. This will be my second Freddy hump back!!

Nice score Andrew, great grinning humpback..
Got an email from Larry at Whipped Dog, my new to me SR is in the mail on its way to a new home. This will be my first straight so Im a bit excited to say the least.
A 1930 Winchester straight, a 1930 Dovo straight, a Ralf Aust straight, new soap and new SR Stand.
Andrew,
Nice F. R.! Mine is on it's way back from Gssixgun with new scales and it's missing a bunch of rust! Unlike yours, the scales on mine were broken so they had to be replaced.
My Randall Hall with new honey horn scales is also enroute, as is my Clauss which Glen rescaled too. Pics are on his Face Book page and there's one picture of the Randall H. and the Fredrick R. in the "Hone of the Day" thread.
I should also mention a C-Mon from the classifieds is on it's way. It looks like December is going to be a good month for me, but not my wallet.. <sigh>
Regards
Christian

Also a monster Joseph Elliot 8/8+ should show up sometime this week.

And I'm sure I'll have more scheduled by tomorrow :)
Since a few Minutes i wait for my first Tamahagane Kamisoris, its not an Iwasaki and i still need a little help in the Kanji Thread to identify the Maker but it has 188mm of width and 43mm blade length by 32gr weight, i guess even if Tamahagane makes not that big difference it will become a good shaver when it is honed :)
Simpson Chubby 2 Synthetic.
Gold Dollar 208, Strop, Van Der Hagen Shave set (soap, brush, bowl), Personna razor blades, Kent Mustache comb, A little more than 20 essential oils and carrier oils (not all or for my beard oil or mustache wax most are my wife's).
Nevermind. It was advertised as a Thuringian, but was far from it. There was a faded stamp that said "Car______um stone No 104" on the side.
So basically, I was sent a carborundum. Shipped back pretty much as soon as I opened it. Seller accepts returns and promised a full refund including shipping.
Some building supplies for winter projects.
6 honey horn and 6 dark horn blanks, some MOP sheeting, bit o abalone, and a half dozen bone blanks for good measure.
Robsbits in the UK is a pretty consistent supplier.
Cheers.
Just got an email from Shavemac that the custom brush I ordered will ship 08 Dec. Going to make a nice Christmas gift if it does not get stuck in the mail.

The suspense is quite exciting on that one...

Mystery boxes are fun. ;)
Got a vintage W.H. Morley and Sons "Clover Brand" razor on the way. I'm thinking it's a primo candidate for a full scales off resto perhaps with a set of custom scales. Won't know for sure til it gets here though.
I have an iwasaki western tamahagane coming from japan. Lots of sleepless nights ahead...
Yea, I saw the clover stamp and the barber's notch and that pretty much sealed the deal for me. Also just pulled the trigger on 3 barber hones. 1 is a Swaty, the other an American Hone. The Swaty is the one I was interested in, but they were sold as a set (and cheap, almost a 3 for 1 type deal) so we'll see what happens. The third is a Brown, but it's dished on both sides. Can't imagine the thing is actually used for honing...maybe just an advertisement piece or something of the like?
Without seeing it I'd wager the Brown is a DE razor blade hone. Was a time folks refreshed them instead of tossing them and the hones used were dished so both edges of the DE blade rested on the stone and the middle area was in free air, then a quick swirl or swish or whatever movement, turn over the blade, repeat and voila fresh edge on your DE.
Neat score!
I have a brand new Revisor 8/8 (blade only) enroute from Germany. Pondering scale designs now...
My first silver shaving mug.
