Got a couple in the mail. Another Kamasori just like the first one I got last week and this G. Johnson.
The Johnson has a little hone wear but not much if you consider how old it is. My searching came up with 1822 to 1855. Hard to believe but that's the best I could find. I polished the horn scales and tightened the pivot pin. Rubbed a little polish on the blade, Reshaped the heal and corrected a divot in the middle of the edge. The toe has been abused but... I believe it was a 6/8 but is now an 11/16. Ready for the hones when I get time.

And no, I didn't paint the stamp. Deep and dark when I got it. You can see the stars and hammer clear as day! Nice.
