    Default Sheffield Razor~Need Info

    Hi
I acquired this awhile back & it has no information on it as far as a maker. Any info would be greatly appreciated. All it has on it is "Made & Ground in Sheffield, England". It is hollow ground on one side & flat on the other.

You have a microtome. They were used to section thin slices of flesh for microscopy.
Shaves like a Kamisori and you will still get a nice shave if you allow the blade to angle for the best shaving that for side of your face.
Hone two or three strokes on the flat to one on the face. Or just tape and hone to get a bevel on the flat.
I kinda like the original grind so I do it my way and that takes longer, and gets me ready for a real Kamisori.
    Have fun!
