Default Should it stay or go?

I have a razor that I just got in the mail from an eBay seller. This razor was supposed to be nos, but no box and there appears to be some wear on the tang markings. I do not know any thing about the brand I hope some can shed some light. The frame reads "Danne Mora-Martin-G Jutstal" and the tang partially reads ?Rhard Thalbitzer Jøbenhavn.

Well the steel is kind of harder than my griffon carbo magnetic and filarmonica, but slightly softer than my henckels. I am about to take a shower and shave right after.
It is a shaver that I need to get comfortable as it is smaller than my other razors, and since it is a frameback it's so much lighter than my other razors. I also like the points of my razors a little more aggressive, but this one is a smiling with a really rounded point. I got two nicks after shaving wtg and xtg. Now the good because the is 2.75" it is extremely maneuverable when shaving and easy to hone. The other thing I kind of dislike is the placement of the thumb rest.

From the markings on it, it seems to be a Swedish steel razor.
Dannemora is a Swedish town where the famous Dannemora mine are situated.
The mine closed in 1992, but re-opened in 2012.
It was a huge mine, and steel from there are found in razors all over the world.
You can read an article about it on Wikipedia, in English here

On your razor it says Dannemora Martin Gjutstål, which is the name of the type of steel used.
Martin-steel has been used for many years, in various applications.
(Gjutstål is Swedish and translates to Cast-steel)

The Gerhard Thalbitzer Köbenhavn could be a maker, but it could also be just a retailer or wholesale company based in Copenhagen (Köbenhavn), Denmark.
I'm sure some of the historically interested on here will provide more info if they see this thread.

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Probably not wear, the tang marks were probably not stamped very deep to start with.
One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.

Agree with Brinando! From the way the words are spelled and some of the funny letters; its definitely "Foreign"!
