    Default Portland Razor Company

So I came up to Oregon to visit my oldest son, so I thought I would take a tour of the Portland Razor Company. I had a great time, and Hunter was a very accommodating host. They have a cool little factory and show room. Of course I couldnteave empty handed, so I purchased this jewel off the display case. Can't wait for my first shave with it!

Should I tilt your photos to the right?

Please do. I'm computer illiterate. And my father was born in India. Can you believe that? I'm the one Indian on the planet that can't sing, dance, or use a computer.

You should enjoy that razor. Very nice factory edge.

Cool. Hope they charged you extra for wearing that shirt

My PRCs have the straightest blades of any that I've seen. Near perfect bevels from end to end and side to side. Some of my favorite shavers. Take and hold great edges.

Ok, so I just got in my first shave (admittedly I should not have done that drunk, but I did, don't judge me). Holly crap. Like a hot knife thru butter. I realize know that my first straight (purchased here) was dulled by my poor stropping technique. I know it came sharp because I trust the admin who sold it to me. But I have been struggling thru my first 10 straight razor shaves not realizing it was dull. My PRC was so sharp!! Such a difference. Loved it. My first BBS shave with a straight. That was a great shave.

I'm from Portland and agree they are a great group of guys. Very hospitable and will to spend time with whoever drops by their shop. Thanks for sharing your photos.
