Default George Savage & Sons XX and an old Taylor

    Did some trading this week.
8/8 George Savage and Sons Masonic etch

It's been neglected but the edge is strong. Got a set of period scales to fix what ails it. Doubt I'll do much more than a honing and a re-scale with all period stuff.

The other is a nice older 7/8 Taylor "eye witness". Oldest one I've seen. Got a few newer that are full hollows, this puppy pre-dates them a bit I'd say. Heavy old bird it is. I LIKE IT!

Blade still has the original "glaze" finish. Been used and honed but not a lot from the looks of it.

These two came out of a shoe box found in an old barber shop in Utah. The box also had two 6/8 NORTHFIELD's and a 7/8 Northfield in it. I didn't get a chance at those. :/

Oh well, I'm happy with these.
