Another bit picked up on a recent trip. The hone was in ugly condition with slight dishing but also chips to the top edges. Lapped her flat and beveled the top edges with a DMT and the on some 1K WD paper. That was followed by a Vaseline treatment. When it did not soak any more Vaseline the residue was wiped off and then the hone was polished with a cloth.
