A certain auction house recently had another batch of razors, and some of these seemed to fly under the radar. This was one of them. I bid without seeing the included razor beyond what stuck out, and am pleasantly surprised. It is a mid 1700s etui made of wood, silver and shagreen (rayskin). It holds a number of implements, including knives, a needle, a corkscrew, tweezers, and of course a razor. The condition of everything is really exceptional.

Plus, as a bonus the lot came with three sterling brushes.
