finally i can show this beauty

this started with a message from ScienceGuy ! who I cant even explain how grateful I am or excited I am (adrenalin was and still is through the roof !!) to have obtained this razor !! and was then sent to Glen (gssixgun) for a hone !! I think this is the one of the first razors I received that needed honed that I didn't do it myself ! but honestly and admitting I didn't feel comfortable or skilled enough to attempt this one my own and ruin something with such history and soul that comes with razors of this time period !! no makers mark left but with the info given to me from ScienceGuy it is leading to that pre-1800's era French razor !! so after looking at thread after thread of these fabulous razors and telling myself I "HAVE" to have one and always coming up short !! I can now say I own one !!! now without further ramblings of excitement I now share my new piece !!
may it shave many more years !!( but for sure it will tonight )
