    Default My newest acquisitions

Here are a few razors I received in the mail the other day, top to bottom in first pic is an F. Westphal, Boker, and a Joseph Allen & Sons Non XLL, 2nd pic is the Japanese Kamisori I received and wrapped the handle in camo paracord, and 3rd pic is a W.H. Morley & Sons Clover Brand razor, no I didn't make the scales, it came that way. Is there anyone on here that could help me with figuring out what Kamisori I have, maker etc?Name: Mail call.jpg

It will help if you can get a close up of the markings on the kamisori. There are some gents here that can read them. I'm not one of them.

Interesting scales on the Morley, I wonder if they started life as a paint stirrer or perhaps an old ruler. I like it.

i was thinking the same , or of some type of old crate ...

i like the kamisori ! ive been looking at them for a while but even after all the searches and looking i have done i still hesitant of buying a used one for fear of getting something ( over honed , or in bad shape) that i dont know what im getting and dont want to drop the coin on a new "name brand " one .. i like the wrap you added and the blade itself ! hopefully you can find the info and enjoy the shaves after a good hone !

I honed it Friday and shaved with it yesterday. It shaves great, very nimble little blade. Check eBay, I got this one for $20.
