    Default Pechika Yasuki

Here's a PECHIKA YASUKI Straight Razor with the highly desirable Hitachi Steel in it. I help a friend out a lot on eBay since he doesn't like to use Paypal or credit cards on the internet so he in turn helps me out. I saw one of our members here that had one like this awhile back & I had this saved in my straight razor list for several months ever since. The seller wanted $226 for it but a couple weeks ago he marked some of his items down 50% & I got it for $113. When I got it, there were scratches on the scales & I forgot to take before pics but I sanded them down starting with 1000 grit, then 1200, 1500, 2000, 2500 & 3000. I then polished it with some Mother's Chrome polish. I haven't touched the blade yet. It needs a little sanding, polishing & honing. So far it turned out beautiful.

Looks great! Those grinds in the blade face are pretty wild looking...
