Well, the wait was worth it! I finally got my Filly Birnando promised me! If some of you folks know about the thread awhile back:
"Evidence of Filarmonica Manufactured in Solingen?????"
Birnando said how he felt Christmassy & would send me a Filly free of charge.

He made two attempts & his post office sent it back to him but the third attempt made it. He sent me a pm about three weeks ago saying it made it to customs in NY. Then since they had bad weather up there, it was stuck in Garden City, NY for a couple of weeks & I finally got it today.
Thank you very much Birnando, I love it & I'll never get rid of it! It will always be a special piece in my collection. It is the
Filarmonica Especial Para Barbas Duras.
Here it is exactly as I got it today........................

It might be missing the rubber piece that goes around the tang but I don't care. It's special to me!

You're making me hungry! There's a place in Philadelphia called Cliffs that makes such good cheesesteak sandwiches, they have lines of people that are so long they go around corners of buildings & across intersections..............

Just got a Filly 14 myself a week ago. You will love it. Shaves so smooth and close its unbelievable. Enjoy and good luck.

I wonder if one could get one if those filarmonica para Corte de cabello, un pin and take the rubber grip to place it on this razor, then re pin and sell it back.

There was a thread about this awhile ago - can't remember exactly, but a member here modified the rubber grip on a drugstore type pen and used it as the rubber grip - it looked great.

I've been waiting for Birnando to promise me a Filly too.
