Roberts Warranted
picked this one up , gonna need some edge work , some rust removal , and some scales !! Unfortunately these scales are trashed as cool as I thought they were !! was able to save the original washers so hopefully they will clean up well and go nicely onto the new scales after they are complete !!

Thanked: 375Nice find gooser. Hope I can find a blade like that someday...
other than no heel and a stubby tail, I can only imagine that style of blade would work very nicely and I would never miss the heel.CHRIS

Here's my Roberts Warranted shave ready. I don't think those are the right scales though. I need to make some new ones! I hate when people polish so much that it takes more off the blade. I would much rather it were a little less polished or no polished at all. It's still a good shaver!

ya this one is gonna end up polished up , has some deep pitting and serious rust in the pits that I would really like to get out and stop any further damage!!! Not to mention some pits near the edge by a chip so hopefully it will take an edge after the dings are taken out

Yeah, I figured that was why mine was done that way but if polishing a blade, I would leave the makers mark alone. When I had a guy regrinding for me, i would tell him to try to leave the makers mark intact. I haven't heard from him in a few months now because the last time I had a message from him, he said that he wouldn't be able to do much for awhile, that he had some family issues. I don't know what it was though, I don't pry into other peoples business.
I'm sure he'll surface one day.
