Congats on your score. Way to keep your eyes open. Its definitely a Coti and was used by barbers for a reason. You dont have high end razors and maintain them with crap. Think about that for a minute. He got paid for giving a close shave, both razors are high quality in any informed wet shavers book. Hone follows suit.

This site explains it indepth.
I would recommend the unicot method for honing, you will see it and a link on the left hand side of the page.
None of your finds should be parted with easily. Think long and hard before you do. You did score big time. Savor this moment I will vicariously.Your only as good as your last hone job.

Great find....I'm jealous.
No I'm not, I'm irritated that my "barber" is a "Hairstylist" and wouldn't know a SR if he cut himself with it.
I'll search for real barber shops in the area.Just call me Harold

Thanked: 315Wow, that Filharmonica is beautiful and I really like the blade shape of the Berg. I thought I got a bargain recently, but that is crazy.

Thanked: 315What?! I would've gone back for it too. I've been wanting to get a coticule since it seems a lot of the experienced members use them, but I haven't found any that price range.

When I went in originally I suspected it was a cot but was't sure so I bought the bigger one. In addition he still has a frowning hecnkes, a Wade and Butcher that scales are broken in half and is about less than 3/8 and some other poor conditioned razors.
Anyway here are some new Coti porn...
New stone I got today it's 2x4
Comparison to the first cot which is 2.5x5
