I've mostly been using synthetics until about nine months ago, as I couldn't find a badger with tips as soft as I like, and with enough backbone for face lathering. Then I discovered the new Shavemac 2-Band Silvertip knot, and the BAD started:

All are two band Silvertips except the one on the right, a D01 three band Silvertip, my first Shavemac that I purchased three years ago. The black and red stone handle was made by HARRYWALLY (thanks, Andrew).
