Size: 68.5 KB I don't really know what i'll do with it but the scales look good. It was reasonable priced and i made an offer and it was taken. Providence razor co. Sheffield is one i haven't heard of but there's a lot i haven't heard of. maybe it will clean up i just hope the scales are good when it gets here and that the blade isn't warped. at any rate it will be fun sanding. I think the scales are bone but would happily surprised if they are old off color ivory.

Yea, you did ok, should clean up just fine. Those are most probably not bone… thin, collarless pined, Ivory scales.

You might want to send that one out for restoration or just save it, practice on a bunch, then restore it.

Hello I just got a Otto Busch that by your picture looks like it came from the same seller. I had great luck with my razor it is one of the best razors I have ever shaved with. so I hope you have the same great experience as I did with my razor.

Size: 20.2 KB Well it didn't turn out as I hoped. Too many spots but nothing close to the edge. I decided to replace the scales with these green ones and I cleaned and stored the ones that came on it so if I do find a good 5/8-11/16- or may 6/8 that will fit I will have some nice scales to put on it. I haven't honed yet but will today and shave with it tonight. If it turns out to be a good shaver i'll have to think about what to do with it.

They are natural (aka ivory) that's why I made these and put those in the special box. waiting for the right blade. When I get this one shave ready I will determine what to do with it. There's a member on the place I will talk to about that.
