Very nice razor. I have one its the long handled version. I had a short handled black beauty also a nice razor. I like it just as much as my fatboy. Enjoy your razor.

It is the aluminum handle version of the Slim.

Many think the Sim is a better shaver than the Fatboy. The Black Beauty is a fine shaver.

Soak in dish soap and water over night and scrub with a soft tooth brush. Don’t soak too long or with harsh chemicals, if you use scrubbing bubbles use just on the head and try not to get it on the handle.

Polish with Flitz, many regular metal polishes that we use on steel razors are too abrasive for the thin nickel plating. Flitz on a tooth brush, scrub and wipe with a paper towel, buff with a micro fiber towel.

Will do that, thanks for the advise, since I'm new on this vintage razor I would've been cleaning it with clr, but now I know that would damage it, must appreciate..

That’s the long handle, plastic head. There is a nickel plated, brass head also, with a little more weight. Don’t use scrubbing bubbles on the plastic head.

Looks in good condition and should clean up just fine. Super speeds are still easy to find at great prices, but lately have been going up here in So. Cal.

You might want to try an all nickel Slim, like I said they are shavers and have really gone up in price, at antique stores and flea markets, but can still be found cheap, bought one at a garage sale the other day for $5.

I like my straights but enjoy these also. The safety's remind me of good days gone by from my childhood. Watching my dad shave. Trying to use one with no blade and pretending to shave. Yeah a lifetime ago.

Since you already have a Fatboy, the short version of the Super Adjustable is only 3/8" longer than the Fatboy - or about 3 & 3/8". The long handle as pictured above is almost 4" long. The shorter SA also has a different knurling pattern. Me I like the shorter handles, 3" is my preferred.

The SA is a tad milder than a Fatboy, in my experience it is, like the Slim, maybe one click milder.
