Just came home from a week long trip to Spain, mainly visiting Madrid and Barcelona. Near the end of my journey I happened across an outdoor Antique Swap meet of sorts in a square just outside the historic Cathedral. I was salivating at all the interesting curiosities on the tables, mainly old pocket watches, jewlery, pipes, large format cameras and the like. When out of the corner of my eye I spotted 4 razors under a display case. I investigated further, looking at the first two they were worn down beyond belief having maybe 3/8 left on the blade. Disheartened I continued my inspection, next being a Solingen blade not in bad condition but unfamiliar with brand of maker and then the last one I opened up made me smile. A nice Filarmonica No. 14 in OK condition, couple of small pits and some tarnish but nothing constituting a deal breaker. After close inspection making sure no hidden cracks or other problems, I struck the deal. Finally a Spanish razor in my collection. I will post another picture later after I buff and hone it up.
