    Default J A Henckles 7 day 4/8 set

I just got this set this weekend I paid 350 I'm not sure if that's good or not but I figured they were worth 50 bucks apiece I hope .They have very very little light rust spots .They appear to never been used or honed . They are 4/8 which is not my ideal size but I really liked the seven day set . If any body knows the age or any history on these I would love to hear .

One of the forum rules that's easy to forget when you first get on here is

    "No appraisals".

Now if there's a member you feel would know the answer to your question and you feel comfortable sending them a PM that's a different animal; but you won't get a reply to the thread.

Nice set. I am not really into 4/8 razors but I am really into Henckels.

I'd say let one of the pros here say yes or no but from my limited experience I know that ivory has a slight grain in it. I've also learned that in normal circumstances, Ivory is normally pinned without washers. BUT, Like I said, I'm new to it myself. So in your case with them having a grain and having washers its hard for me to comment on if they are Ivory or not. Sorry.
