Thanked: 81W&B Barber's Rattler with RezDog scales
Just got this in the mail a couple of days ago, and shaved with it this morning. I love it! Unfortunately, my photography skills do not do it justice.

Nice! That mottled bone looks quite authentic on it!

Thanked: 315Nice work. Those scales do add some character to it
What kind of bone is that? Source? Did he make the faces flat then round the edges or is the entire scale rounded ) ?Last edited by JP5; 01-17-2018 at 06:42 PM.

Thanked: 4830@JP5
The scales are buffalo bone that I source from India. This was a fairly deeply coloured blank. The scales have the edge rounded at a fairly wide radius but the whole scale is not domed. The wedge is the original lead wedge. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
